Over the past few days, propagation on the low frequencies toward Asia and Oceania has been excellent. Yesterday, for the first time, around 18 GMT, I was able to receive an FT8 amateur radio signal from New Zealand here in Salzburg on the 160-meter band at 1.8 MHz. I was able to decode ZL1CX in Auckland using my AziLoop antenna. Unfortunately, the station’s email address in the QRZ database is no longer correct, so I was unable to send a short report.
