KFAB Nebraska has been transmitting omnidirectionally for a few days and can at least be heard somewhat in QRM on 1110 kHz. Eike wrote in A-DX: KFAB from Omaha, Nebraska, on 1110 kHz is currently transmitting temporarily at night with 12.5 kW omnidirectional. Normally 50 kW westbound only!
Today, March 13, 2025, I could hear weak but relatively quiet mediumwave signals from Asia in Salzburg:

“QSL”: Now is really the time after 42 years when it no longer makes sense. Out of 10 reports in the last two months to ‘special’ stations (all mediumwave), not a single one has responded. A total of 4 replies for 37 reports since December. Now I’m going to print out Jaguar screens for the QSL folder instead of the station’s mail, like the one pictured here from Sinjanniin Mongoliin Ardiin Radio. And it’s only for myself, I don’t need the ‘QSL’ for anyone else, so I’m going to do it this way to save time. The only exception might be if I hear a new US state. But that’s also very doubtful after 45 verified US states.
