Just in time for the HAM RADIO fair, MW-List has fulfilled a wish of mine: From now on you can download your own MW-List logbook, save and edit it yourself. The data is transferred as .txt file, just change the file extension to .csv after the download and open it with a spreadsheet software (Excel or Apple Numbers as example) and adjust it to your own wishes. Thanks to the whole team of MW-List around Günter Lorenz for their work!

Small Dutch Stations.
If the American doesn’t want to cross the Atlantic, there are plenty of other specialties on the medium wave, such as small Dutch stations. A perfect piece of information about QRGs and QTH can be found here: https://radio-tv-nederland.nl/am/am.html

QSL: Radio Free Africa, Tanzania.
My QSL of the month: After numerous reports in the last years, Steve Diallo, Technical & Operations Manager confirmed today that I received Radio Free Africa from Tanzania. The station from Mwanza, the capital of the Mwanza region, directly at Lake Victoria, can be heard in the evening on mediumwave 1377 kHz, the reception is much easier than finding a way to contact the station. Many thanks to Jan-Mikael Nurmela for his support!

Use CMCCs!
A visible note for outdoor antenna users: Use CMCCs! These Common-mode current choke are absolutely worth their money, especially with longer coax feed lines in receive mode. As an example here is a screen of the Solomon Islands on 5020 kHz at my Asia Beverage, to see and hear the signal from the Pacific Ocean only with S3/S5, but the noise floor below (!) – 140 dBm makes listening possible. I use CMCCs from remoteqth.com and Bonito.
