The little life insurance for the receiver. The Antenna Safe Disconnect switch from Jan Šustr QRO.cz. It is connected between the antenna and receiver (suitable adapters are also available from Jan if you are not using SMA connectors) and then switches the antenna to earth via 12 V when not in use. For 70 euros, this is a very sensible purchase to prevent static charging and discharging from the antenna to the receiver.

KFAB Nebraska has been transmitting omnidirectionally for a few days and can at least be heard somewhat in QRM on 1110 kHz. Eike wrote in A-DX: KFAB from Omaha, Nebraska, on 1110 kHz is currently transmitting temporarily at night with 12.5 kW omnidirectional. Normally 50 kW westbound only!

Caribbean Radio Lighthouse, Saint Mary, Antigua was heard this morning, 1 March 2025, on mediumwave 1160 kHz in Salzburg.
On 10.2. I was able to receive PJD2 The True Voice of St Maarten briefly in Salzburg. Of course a new mediumwave country for me.
